Persephone

When a massive kids-rock star learns that his on-stage character and music has inspired a wave of gruesome Manson-like violence by kids against their parents, he seeks out the real creative genius behind his character, his former creative partner/lover whom he abandoned and whose idea he stole.  (half-hour dramedy; animation/live action)

Princess

When a young trans princess is visited by her mother’s ghost, she learns that her recently-buried mother, a beloved and iconic queen, was murdered by her father the king. She vows to avenge the murder, so long as her mother’s ghost trains her to become the most glamorous, beloved, and iconic princess — and, hopefully, queen — the world has ever seen. Loosely based on Hamlet (…very loosely). (Half-hour comedy; DICKINSON meets SEARCH PARTY)

Stars in Winter

After a traumatic breakup, a child-actress-turned-megastar flees to a hotel in the South of France that was special to her late father, seeking a connection to her past. But she arrives to find it in utter disrepair, run by haughty and brooding young Frenchman. Then, a snow-storm traps them inside. (Feature; Christmas movie/rom-com; THE HOLIDAY meets UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN)

Gen L
(Co-written with Nick Rudman)

In the wake of a nightmarish global pandemic, an inexhaustible war that never made any sense, and the most corrupt presidential administration in modern history, a rising generation criticized as indulgent and self-centered struggles to make its mark. No, this isn’t millennial Brooklyn; it’s 1920s Paris! GEN L follows Ernest Hemingway, Djuna Barnes, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and other American expat artists before they became their famous selves as they struggle to find their voice and achieve success—all while confronting an ongoing series of relationship dramas uncannily familiar to millennials and gen Z. (Half-hour comedy; BOJACK HORSEMAN meets GIRLS)
